At Foegex Speed, we are proud of our polished forged wheels production process. The first step of this process includes choosing our hand picked 6061 T6 aerospace grade aluminum. 6061 T6 grade wheels is one of the best materials for high performance applications because of its strength-to-weight ratio. In our state of the are forging presses, we apply 12,000 tons of pressure to create a wheel that is not only strong, but incredibly lightweight. Once we finish forging a wheel, our engineers use precision CNC machining to detail the wheel to ensure it meets our quality standards. After engineering and machining comes one of the most important steps of our process. We polish the wheel to enhance its visual appeal, and also to apply a protective finish. After we complete this step, our engineers make the final checks of the wheels to finish our 30 years of in house manufacturing process to ensure that our wheels will perform to the best of their abilities. After completing our wheels and visual checks, our wheels are ready to encounter all extreme driving conditions.
